Ride Report August 20, 2008
Wednesday, August 20 Medford Tom and Katrina Harris hosted the last Medford ride of the season from their house. On hand to ride were 13 riders consisting of Joe, John, Todd, Julie, Mark Temme, Kathy, Rick, Tom, Katrina, Mindy, Jason, Paula, and Bryan.
After traversing a little bit of local Medford road construction the group headed south on Gibson Drive up Motorcycle Hill on to County Highway A. The group headed east on County A through Stetsonville. The group then turned north on County Highway C to County O. It was on hilly County O that the group split apart. By the time the lead group reached the Black River Country Club only Joe, John, Bryan, Jason, and the Harris tandem were together.
Wanting more mileage, Bryan, Joe, and John rode up Motorcycle Hill again and took Apple Avenue est to Castle Road, Castle Road south to county O, County O east back to Castle Road north and back into town for an additional 6 miles.
