Ride Report June 25, 2008
There were 15 riders on hand for the June 25 ride in Ogema. Warm temperatures made for a beautiful night for biking. Riders on hand were Rick Kraus, Stephan Steinke, Nathan, Tom, Katrina, Ken ones, Jeff, Scott, Nancy, Todd, Megan, Mark, John, Vicki, and Bryan.
The customary County Highway I, M and O route was ridden. We were treated to a rousing chase by an aggressive Bull Dog that apparently didn't like the strike to the side of his head from Trina's foot. Dog slobber was everywhere, but no one reported any injuries.
The group stayed together until the turn around. It was at this point that the group split in two. Steve, Nathan, Tom, Katrina, Ken, Jeff, Mark, and John were off of the front. Rick, Scott, Nancy, Todd, Megan, Vicki, and Bryan formed "the laughing group".
A distance of 30 miles was ridden. Plenty of deer were seen on the roads this evening.
