Ride Report June 18, 2008
The Pie Ride.
We had 9 riders on hand for the 2008 edition of the Pie Ride. Riders present were Tom, Katrina, Mindy, Paula, Nathan, Stephan Steinke, Bryan, George, and Jason.
With a northwest wind blowing the group went north on County Q to County N, west on M to Kleutsch Drive, east on Keyes Avenue, south on Division to Perkinstown Avenue around Lake Esadore, and back into town on a variety of town roads.
The group stayed together until it crossed County Highway E. The group shed riders until the Harris tandem, Steve, and Bryan were left. George was shed from the group on the large hill on Castle Road. No sprint was contested.
