Rib Lake - Temme Cabin
A quick change of plans, numerous phone calls, and we were meeting at the Temme cabin outside of Rib Lake.
Bryan, Ken Jones, Nathan, Joe, John, Chris, Jeff, Tom, Mark, and Wally were set to go on the road bikes.
Mark, Paula, and Alexa headed out for a short fat-tire ride.
The roadies took the traditional Rib Lake route out 102 up to 86, around Timm's Hill and up Cemetary Hill.
It was a beautiful night for a 40 mile ride.
Once back at the cabin, we settled down to some tasty hamburgers and fixin's. Wonderful fruit salad
topped off the meat, and then if you braved the skeeters long enough, the famous s'mores were available.
Good time was had by all. Mark promises a warmer day, and shorter ride the next time so we can go swimming.
Vickie Roberts invites y'all to her place in Phillips on the 4th of July. Come for the ride, stay for the food,
and maybe watch some fireworks. Hope to see you there.
July 11 we will be riding from Blomberg's High Point Village. See the ride schedule for directions.
Their regular Wednesday mountain bike ride will be taking place on the Timm's Hill trail. You are
welcome to join them, or invite other Fat Tire folks to ride. Ken Kraft says he will be grilling
dead animal parts for our enjoyment.
Don't forget to check out the WORS site and the WISport site. See how Holly and Kyle are doing
in their respective events. Both are doing quite well. Be sure to give them a thumbs up if you see them.
Also, just a note fromt the webmaster. It's been great to see the number of hits on the website.
While not huge, we've seen a good number of hits, 30 over the past 7 days. Thanks for making use of the info.
