She promises to be somewhere,
she promises to laugh at least once,
she promises to entertain.

She promises to sleep every now and then,
she promises to not cry every night,
she promises to smile tomorrow.

She promises her heart is not completely broken,
she promises the clouds move sometimes from her head,
she promises to live today.

She promises to not show her anger,
she promises to hide her fear,
she promises to be quiet.

She promises to go out,
she promises to do something fun,
she promises to look happy.

She promises to appear energetic,
she promises to talk to someone,
she promises to get some sleep.

She promises to be generous,
she promises to be nice,
she promises nothing for herself.
