The Tool concert last night was great, and Karl and Eric were great companions :)  Happy birthday, again, Eric!  My ears are still ringing, but it was worth it--my second concert, and my first ever rock concert!  Go me!  Lately I have been busy writing songs, but since it is so hard to use this computer (I am on my parents') I can't put them up as often as I would like--sorry.  I have created album art for my albums, but they are still rather rough looking.  For that stuff, I think the most important part is that I get my nerves up so that 1) I can play in front of my band 8P and 2) I can play in front of other people for performing.  I have the worst case of stage fright when it comes to singing.  The violin isn't as bad, but some of you know how bad I am with that, so I think that is saying something, and it isn't something good.  <sighs>  I am hoping by winter break I can do something about it, but we shall see.  It makes me feel sick just to think about really playing in front of people.   But I really really really want to do it.  I just need more confidence.  Other stuff going on is that my job is winding down.  They want me to stay during the school year, but obviously I can't.  I am happy because Suhaila is coming home, so maybe I can do some stuff with her.  Also, next weekend I get to pay a visit to my "sister."  I can't wait, because I miss talking to her in person.  It would have been nice to have had her near this past month--it hasn't been too good.  Ah well, right now I have the house to myself, so I am going to go work on my songs :) but feel free to check out my songs and all, since I was able to add some more.

Happy Belated Birthday to Sarah!  Other random stuff is that school is starting up again soon, so that means more updates, but less song updates--sorry!  I can't wait for my broadband connection back, but I will miss things like my family, my cats, my mattress, free time, songwriting time, being able to blast annoying music ;) , and other stuff like that.  I almost had a new guy possibly, but of course he turns out to be stupid in some way.  <sighs>  Maybe I should switch away from guys for a while, and concentrate on my true love: math!  Haha.  Anyway, yeah.  Guys suck at times.  And not in a good way.  I will miss my job this summer since some of the volunteers aren't coming back, and they are so cute!  So many of them want me to get a boyfriend--it's ridiculous.  They think I should just be able to ask a guy, and that he will go out with me.  They are so naive.  They think I could ask a guy I hardly know to go do "stuff."  I don't think they even know what "stuff" is :)  I tried to open their minds some with different issues like homosexuality and race---and of course math ;)  I couldn't resist!  I have bought so many cds this summer--John Mayer, Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne, Phantom Planet, Tool, Dixie Chicks, The Vines . . . and then dvds--I got LOTR and Moulin Rouge.  I guess it makes up for a year of not really buying many.  Usually I buy so many cds, but then I stopped because I can download at school.  Well . ..  I have nothing else I want to say, except, here Karl, I updated ;)
