Renault
driver Jarno Trulli's fourth place in the Monaco Grand Prix will
remain provisional for at least two days, the FIA has said.
The
other cars in the race have passed scrutineering but there is a
question mark over the software on Trulli's car.
An
FIA official said checking the telemetry and sophisticated car
computer will take at least two days and a decision on whether
to allow the result to stand will not be taken until then.
The
result was Trulli's first points finish of the season and looked
to have put an end to his run of misfortune.
If
he is excluded Rubens Barrichello will move up to sixth place
with Giancarlo Fisichella and Heinz-Harald Frentzen promoted to
fourth and fifth respectively. |
