The natural color of rubberwood is one of the principal reasons for its popularity. It has a good overall wood- working and machining qualities for sawning, boring, tuning, nailing and glueing. Furthermore, it takes finishes and strainswell. Rubberwood is high pressure treated with Boric Acid and Borax to ensure that it is free from Fungus and insects attact.Subswquently, it is kiln dried to a desired moisture content. |
