Fisheries Ecology & Management
Include Fish by-catch & discard reduction, ageing of tropical fish using otoliths, property rights in fisheries
Coastal Management Issues
Biodiversity Issues - Fish and seabird diversity

On-going research area (1998-2002:
Biotic, abiotic and anthropogenic controls of nearshore fishes caught in beach seines in Accra and its implications for management.
(Funding: University of Ghana, Legon; Volta River Authority, Ghana; North Carolina State University, USA).
