Some students may benefit from using an instructional CD to help them learn how to set up the electronic portfolio. I have found this to be a great tool for those students that need to see a procedure several times along with the slide that goes with that procedure.
How do I create an Instructional CD?
Simply use the same commands in your instructional manual and type them on a PowerPoint slide with a picture of the window for that instruction.
How do I create the window?
1. Simply find the window that you want to model
2. Hold down the Print Screen key and then the Ctrl key at the same time
3. Open up your slide where you wish to put the model and press the Ctrl key and V key. Your model should now be on the slide
4. Use the edit handles to resize your picture and add buttons, audio, or text if desired
