Hello 66ers,
Karen Keldsen-Wilson, ex-66er and I, Charles Wilson, 66er invite all 66ers to send us an update email because we have not seen each other for almost 35 years. Remember us? I was first 66er to get married. Sorry, we did not attend the 25th year reunion ten years ago.
Charles, I have been a US Defense Computer Specialist for almost 35 years. Karen has been a US Defense Disbursing Clerk for 23 years. We have been Kansas Citians for 28 years. Also we are fans of the KC Chiefs and the KC Royals, ha!
We have 3 children but no grandchildren. My older son, Christopher is 33 years old and has a Master's Degree in English from Kansas State U. He is a professor at the U. of Missouri now.
Jennifer, 30 years old, our daughter has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from DeVry College in Kansas City, MO. She is now a housewife in Colorado Spring, CO. She was a computer programmer for INFORMIX for a while and is about to start working again.
Michael, 27 years old is our second son. He got a full scholarship ($125,000) from Yale U. Four years ago he graduated from Yale U. with Bachelor's degree in Economics with Summa Cumma Laude honors (GPA 3.95). He and Yale swimming team won the Ivy League Championship in 1993. A picture of the team is hanged up at the Yale Book Store forever. Michael also attended Oxford U. in Oxford, England (GPA 4.0). Also he was on the Oxford boxing team. Two years ago he was a Strategy Consultant for R.B. Webber & Company in Palo Alto, CA near Stanford U. campus. Now he is the interim head of product management at Coremetrics in Austin, TX. Coremetrics is an Internet software company.
My niece, Fara Wilson is now a freshman at Gallaudet U.
If you want to get a look at us, check out the files/photos section of the Gallaudet 1966 site at eGroup. They are under Karen Keldsen-Wilson. Now that you know us. Please send us an email so that we can know you.
