Class 1966 Minutes
April 7, 2001
Meeting was called to order at Annette Black's house. Others present were Mary Lynn Lally, Jeanie Shickel, Ernie Hoffman, Al Couthen and Elaine Aiello.
Al reported a profit of $68.00 on the bake sale at the Alumni Basketball game.
Treasury Report from Mary Lynn of $450.28 as our total cash on hand. This includes donations from six class members, bake sale profit and money from T-shirt sales from our 25th reunion that was handed over by Ernie.
Elaine reviewed the agenda for Friday night at the Holiday Inn in College Park. It was agreed that we'd have dinner on Friday night at the hotel restaurant. Those going to the dinner will RSVP to Elaine so we can be grouped together. After dinner options are gathering at the bar, going to Ole Jim, or swimming in the pool. On the flyer there should be a note to make hotel reservations before the Sept. 18th deadline, as there will be a home game with Duke and University of Maryland.
Plan B was discussed. This plan is to reserve room for $150 next to the bar and order light appetizers. Drinks will be bought on cash basis from the bar. Elaine is to see if room is available and double check if room is available and refundable.
Mary Lynn and Annette are planning to reserve hotel rooms.
Elaine will host the Friday night dinner and Annette will host the Sunday Brunch
Yahoo bought out E Group. Jeanie will instruct how to register into the E Group of Yahoo.
Mary Lynn will send thank you notes via email on behalf of Class '66 thanking the donors and general email listing the donors.
The committee agreed to return the $100 per person loan because there is sufficient funds in the treasury.
