This is 7091, an ex-Northeast bus shown here at Central on a sizzling July afternoon. This bus had just been retired due to frame damage after being rear-ended on the 22 by a large vehicle. If you look underneath the left rear fleet number, next to the wrap, you see what looks like missing patches of the stripes. In fact it is where the frame buckled from the force of the impact. As of October 24th she is now at Lehman, the stripes painted over in white, awaiting auction. Rest In Peace. :(
