These shots of 7052 were taken at the International Mall on the afternoon of June 15th. It is baby-wrapped for the Cutler Ridge Mall. This bus ran all day on the 1 during the turn of the millennium. It was the last 1 bus from November to April. With the April 30 2000 lineup the bus was replaced in the mornings with 7003, and in the evening it switched places with 7005. It is now the next to last bus. This bus was out of service for a while in late May following an accident on Coral Way and 135 Avenue, where a car blew a stop sign and hit the bus, which was about to begin running a Flagler MAX trip. Look closely at the bottom picture and you can easily tell that the front panel is new.
This one also made a VERY forgettable appearance on TV back in the late summer of 1997 following an incident on the Route 48. After the bus arrived at the Omni, there was one guy in the back who didn't want to get off. The operator requested that he leave. The guy pulled out a pair of scissors and began stabbing himself in the hand. He was taken to the hospital and maybe the funny farm. I'm not making this up.
This one also spent a little while at Northeast.
