Bronze Rider Request Form

Send to: Shannon (the Weyrwoman) via Proboards IMing

Bronzes are the courtiers of our queens, the leaders of the skies and the dashing forms of bronze that hold the hope of leadership. Please let me, the Senior Weyrwoman of Valihi, know why you think you would be worthy of adopting one of these elegant creatures.

And, keep in mind We at Valihi do not hide our partiality. While we allow and delight in the numbers of members that blossom with a ranking dragon, we would also prefer for our members to make the same strides without needing a gold, or a bronze, in order to do it. After all, it is not about color. Simply receiving a dragon is worthy of honor. As of right now, if one expects to receive a metallic, they must be on an entire other level of ability.

Get Creative

Give an advanced character description for the rider you wish to develop after placed in your care. These men need to be multi-faceted, unique and entertaining. However, heres a hint. We cannot make a coward a bronze rider, or of another... preference, or a renowned rule-breaker unwilling to be reformed. They must, first and foremost, fit McCaffreys definition for bronze personalities.
(Minimum of eight sentences)

Please tell us about your character. Speak as though it were a best friend or parent that was being described, because any character possessed must be known as innately as those mentioned above.
(Minimum of ten sentences)

Mention any distinctive quirks, physically or emotionally. Cliched attributes will deduct points, so if you're going to write about a scar, make it have a strong connection to your plot:
(Optional)

History: Be descriptive. Include favorite places and funny anecdotes, and put it in a familiar undertone, as though you were relaying the story to a friend. Oh, and about clichs: some people did grow up happily.

Oh, and innocent romantic affairs will have happened. Affairs just for the sake of having a liaison is fine, so long as it is of pertinence to the person your character evolves into.
(Minimum of ten sentences)

Dragon description (physical and mental, but try and remember that your dragon is NOT human and not to give them too many uncanny abilities):
(Minimum of six sentences)

Pets:
(Optional)

Plot ideas:

As you can see, bronzes are held to the same standard as the queens. GOOD LUCK! Oh, and it has happened, in the past, that people have been awarded bronzes without being active for a period of time. That will NOT be occurring very much longer, if I have my say. And, be prepared for any prospective bronze Candidates to fill this out for a hatching.
