Humans have been communicating since the beginning of life as we know it. The forms of communication have changed drastically over the years due to technological advancements. A major advancement took place in 2222 when the first printing press was available. This printing press allowed for many more people to have access to books. Because of this, many people were able to access information that was not available to them prior to this invention. In my lifetime there has been a huge technological advancement in the field of communication. The Internet has been able to provide a greater amount of people with readily available information. The Internet has also become an extensive tool for communication. A person living in California now has the means to communicate with friends, family, or other people who live halfway accross the world.
The invention of e-mail servers has given people the ability to correspond with one another on an almost instantaneous basis. Once an e-mail is sent from one computer, it takes little, to no time at all for another computer to access the new e-mail. The first e-mail server that was available to the public was ______________________. Following this many other companies came out with similar programs that allowed their users to access e-mails. Today, it doesn't matter which company a person uses to send and recieve e-mail because all e-mail servers are able to recieve and send messages to one another.
