I've Been Thinking...
Was any of it real?  Or was it a figment of my imagination?
When you feel that instant connection to someones heart, can you trust it?
When you feel in your heart that youve been waiting for this one person, at this one moment in time, is that the hand of God?
When you feel a deep sadness, thinking that youre never going to be able to talk to that soul mate again, how do you go on hoping?
How do you allow yourself to believe the promises that are made?  Or do you filter every word through a lie detector?
How do you allow yourself not to continuously doubt your emotions, thoughts, actions, when everything isnt what it seems to be on the surface?
How do you allow yourself to continue to give people the benefit of the doubt, when questions arise that seems to have no answers?
Is there a point that you reach in your life that you get so jaded that you accept nothing at face value, and you second guess everyones intentions?
Is there a point that you reach, that no matter what you attempt to accomplish within a relationship, that you see no progress and begin to give up hope?
Is there a point that you reach a limit to patience?  Forgiveness?  Hope?  Love?
Is the first blush of falling in love to be trusted?
Can you believe in your heart that time will heal all wounds?
Can you believe in your heart that a deep, heart and soul connection cannot ever be severed?
Can you believe in your heart that people are what they profess to be?  Genuine.  Honest.  Affectionate?
Can there be anything, other than physical, emotional, or mental anguish, that would make you turn your back on someone you care about?
Can there be a time for reflection, restitution, and forgiveness?
Can there be a place for discussion of the problem, and a solution found to mend the broken ties?
What is the answer to the question, Will you promise not to leave me?
What is the answer to the question, Do you trust me not to intentionally hurt you again?
What is the answer to the question, Do you promise well talk about the problems before they get too big?
Can you answer yes to the question, Can you forgive me, and let us start again?
Can you answer yes to the question, Do you really care about me?
Can you answer yes to the question, Do you believe I care about you?
There is a fine line we walk, when we open our hearts to others.
There is a place in each of us that needs to be nurtured, so that we dont close ourselves off from our dreams.
There is a woman who cares deeply....That woman is me.
