Unfortunately, this past labor day Beaux passed away. He had foundered in all four feet and there was nothing left that we could do to save him. I had his head in my lap when he died.

We'll never foget you, Beaux. I guess that's why they say 'the good die young.'

We now have a wooden cross in our pasture where he was burried.

I know Blaze never really completely warmed up to you, but sometimes I still see her butting the cross with her nose and sighing.
We still love our Beaux!
