My goalie mask- this actually took close to 8 hours, with the prep-work taking about 3 hours. I had dis-assemble, sand, and prime the mask, and then tape off the design one color at a time, applying several coats each time. Once the design was on I think I clearcaoted it around 15 times- I used an entire can. Nothing but cheap spray-paint was used for this, and 3 years later is has several chips but still looks ok. The image is a rising sun on a blue sky-to my dismay, I found out a few months later that the Arizona state flag looks almost identical to this. What a bummer.
