This set of pages was done when we were running AOL. (That now seems like a lifetime ago!)  I suppose in a way, it was.  Anyway, The Hoyle family tree had lots of branches.  Some received more sunlight than others.   One thing about "time"...eventually we all see the sun.
The Sister pages have some good shots of us when we were little; some from when we were in Jersey and some from NC.

Mama's Memorial Page
When I did the "Sister" pages I raided Mama's old photo albums and scanned a bunch of pictures from when we were little.  It's amazing how much I now look like Mama did in this picture.  I was three months old at the time.  It was taken at the old homestead in BC on a patch of land that Mama always wanted to buy.  The old house, that  had dirt floors, is long since gone and and since Mama died someone has bought the land and put a big two story brick house on it.  Mama's archives show some good pics of Stephanie and Tracey when they were small and shots of Papa, Aunt Sarah and Daddy..
The Dreaded Easter Pics
Every year on Easter Mama always dressed us up and took pictures.  It was a very big deal for her. She loved dressing up her little girls!  I think she did it to torture us with the pictures when we were grown.  LOL.
Mama's Memorial Page
Mama's Memorial Page was done not long after she died on Homestead.  I hope to get it updated on Geocities soon; meanwhile it runs as is just because it still makes me feel better on the days when I
can't stand the thought
  that she's not here.
My Mom was a really cool lady.  She loved canning, playing poker and going to yard-sales.  Most of all she loved her kids and her grand-kids.  Knowing my love for fried corn and salmon patties, she'd cook up enough food to feed an army and then call me saying, "I can't believe you haven't smelled these salmon patties frying!  You better come get you some!"
We all used to get together alot and she said when she died she wanted to be put in a jar and set in her china cabinet so she could watch her family from heaven.  That's where she is now, at my sister Tracey's, in her china cabinet watching her grand-babies grow.
I still remember the last party we had on Halloween the year she died.  Her perfume still faintly lingers on the jacket she left laying on the back of my couch that night and I can still see her coming in the door, wine cooler in hand, exclaiming, "Wazzup!!!"  All night she wanted me to "Play her some Alan Jackson".  It's been three years and I still can't listen to one of his cd's. We lost her two weeks after that last party and our worlds were forever changed.  We miss you Oopie!

Pics of Tammy in Pageants
From the time I was little Mama would put me in local beauty pageants.  I guess it went back to that "dressing her little girls up pretty" thing.  I entered City, Jr. High and High School pageants  and did fairly well, winning Miss Pre-Teen BC and Teen BC.  It was fun to do and I enjoyed doing it, even when I didn't win. I guess it's a "girl thang".  Check out the Pageants link above to see the pics.
Tammy in Christmas Parade as Miss Teen Bessemer City, NC
Tammy Elaine in the BC Christmas Parade.  It was cold as heck that day and I just about froze to death.  LOL.
Actually, the pics are from the last two parties we had together in the house in Crouse.  In the pic to the left Mama's holding her famed George Dickel Bottle.  I still have it and for the first two years after her death we all drank shots together using her shot glass collection on Christmas until it was all gone.
