Jeannie was foaled in 1987. Her sire, Yo Doc Aladdin, was a young stallion on the ranch where I worked. I really liked the looks of this fellow, bright intellegent face, big eyes, long slim neck, well conformed body with straight legs and a big strong hip. His bloodline was promising too. His sire, Jujo's Jay Bar was an own son of Doc Bar who had been over looked as he had no show record and no get record. He had been blinded as a young horse and was wasting away before coming to Canada as an aged stallion. He stood here for a short time before dying of colic. Jujo's dam was Superior Halter horse who produced 4 ROM Performers. Jeannie's dam is an own daughter of Superior Halter Horse Par Three, who has also produced 45 ROM performers, 11 AQHA Champions, 8 Superior Performers, 8Superior Halter, 6 World Champions and 1 Reserve World Champion. His most notable offspring was Zan Parr Bar. See her extended pedigree here. |
