As of a few days ago there has been a deployment of a few hundred officers to the streets to uphold "safety laws" such as seat belts, tail lights, tints etc. Now have you know that this is just an excuse to pull motorists over to check their records. For instance if a car gets pulled over because the driver wasnt wearing his seat belt and then the drivers license is run and a warrant comes up. Now for a simple "seat belt" stop the driver is getting arrested. So this messege is to all you motorists, weear you seatbelts and check your equipment to avoid unecassary stops.
