			AGREEMENT The following constitutes a legal agreement entered into between Mixwell Industries, P. Matshediso on behalf of ______________ herein referred to as �the DJ� and ________________ , herein referred to as the �Promoter�. The DJ is contracted to appear at the venue on _____,___,_______ The DJ will perform a set of ___ hours between ____ and _____ hrs. The promoter will provide a complete P.A. , DJ Deck consisting of 2xSL1200 Technics Turntables and an audio mixer, preferably a Gemini 626 or better, a set of headphones and backline equipment substantial for the venue. A monitor speaker has to be available for efficient queuing. The promoter will be responsible for the publicity of the event. The promoter will be responsible for the safekeeping of all the DJ�s accessories while on the premises. For shows/events within the Gauteng, North West and Lesotho Provinces the promoter will provide adequate and comfortable transport. For other shows outside the mentioned areas the promoter will fly the DJ on his preferred airline and all bookings to be made in advance. Reservation numbers and confirmation to be faxed to (011) 783 5733 or e-mailed to mixwell@e247.com The DJ will be accommodated at no less than a 4 star hotel or equivalent thereof and the promoter will provide the DJ with meals and refreshments for the entire stay. The DJ will be paid ZAR _____,___ for the performance. 50% is to be paid into the account below as soon as both parties have agreed to and signed this contract. This will serve as a deposit and confirmation for the booking. The balance is payable as soon as the DJ arrives at the venue for the show/event. The deposit slip has to be faxed to (011) 783 5733. The set or material the DJ will be playing shall not be recorded without written permission from EMI/Virgin Music International or the DJ himself. Bank Acc. Matshediso If the performance is cancelled by the promoter, the DJ shall be entitled to claim damages suffered to the amount of the full contract price should the contract be cancelled 7 days before the actual date of the event. If the performance is cancelled by the DJ, the promoter shall be entitled to claim damages suffered to the amount of the contract price should the contract be cancelled 7 days before the actual date of the event. Advertisement bearing the name of the DJ can only be done when the deposit has been paid into the supplied account.
