Report - Sunday Oct. 15, 2000 = Fished James and Christi Morgan, Brian, Grady Crowley and Scott Watson of Dell, Austin. Our target fish were Snapper and large Shark. Got settled on our spot and put out the "big Rig" for our Shark, then started hammering nice Red Snapper. After eight or so nice Snapper were boxed our big reel started SCREAMING ! I grabbed the rod , set the hook and before I could hand the rod to Grady we saw 10-12ft of Mako Shark clear water! We got to see three jumps before this MONSTER (500+lbs) spun up on the 16ft leader while jumping, and broke off. What an awesome sight ! We had a limit of nice "Reds" (20) by 11:30 along with one Lane Snapper. Come back soon guys, and we'll get him next time...PROMISE !
