About Me
I was 13 years old when I got my first Discus.  It started out when my Uncle gave me my first tank - a 40 gallon.  but there was only one problem, it needed some fish.  So I went to my local fish store to get some fish.  I spent hours looking for something to put in this tank.  I felt like a little kid in a huge candy store for the first time.  I couldn't make my mind up on what I wanted, there were just too many fish to choose from.  And then one fish caught my eye.. a Powder Blue Discus.  I kinda felt bad for the little guy stuck in that tank all by himself swimming around with no tank mates.  And all the other fish in the store swimming around with their buddies having a good time.  And that's when I told the lady that was working at the store to bag him.  That's how I got into Discus, and now I'm hooked!

I have been keeping Discus for 9 years now.  When I first started I didn't know much.  And I had a lot of fish die on me.  But in those 9 years, I have learned a lot about these wonderful and colorful fish.  I currently have 18 Discus and 3 tanks.
