Timber Rattlin' Kennels
Welcome to Timber Rattlin' Kennels. Here at Timber Rattlin' Kennels I mostly hunt Original Mt. Curs for squirrel and coon, but also have a couple nice hound coon dogs. I prefer OMCBA Curs but I will hunt anything that can get the job done and look good doing it. The three stars here at my kennel are my SwampRooster bred English Redtick named Trouble, my nice female Mt. Cur named Dixie, and my Leapord Cur Matt . I also have several young pups that are just turning it on in the woods. Feel free to email me or call me any time. This page is still under contruction. I will get more info and pictures on here in the future.

My Three Favorite Dogs
I will start off with Dixie. I got Dixie when she was around 6 months old. She has been treeing squirrel and coons good since I bought her. She is out of an accidental breeding which turned out to be an exccelent cross. On top she is out of Streak's Mt. Jackson x Blanton's Lady and on bottom Rattler's Hardwood Hawg x C&S Hardwood Sandy. She  is a very nice dog and at 23 months old she has two NKC 2nd place wins one 3rd and one 4th with one of the seconds being at Parsons, Tn out of 78 dogs. She also has a 2nd place in a NKC night hunt. In OMCBA she has a 3rd place win and a 7th place Jr. world hunt win. She is a pleasure to hunt behind day or night. She has several bench show and treeing contest places.
Next is my English Redtick Trouble. I bought Trouble after my leapord cur Matt and a real nice young Mt. Cur Jake got hit by a car one night coon hunting. He is one heck of a coon dog, He is out of  CH GRNITECH'PR' Michigian Swamp Rooster x NITE CH'PR' MC Gatha's Red Pepper. He has been in one UKC hunt that I know of and he placed 4th in it. I am going to start UKC night hunting him in the next few months. He will be under a coon no matter the conditions.

Last but not least is Matt, my Leapord Cur. He is out of Dan Ellis's stock. Matt is a decent dog both on squirrel and coon. He got hit coon hunting one night and it knocked about half of his first kill season off of him so he got a little set back in the woods. With a little more fur in his mouth I think Matt will also be a top dog. He has a couple NKC bench show wins and a NKC treeing contest 1st, 3rd, and 4th place.
