Thought of the Day:
About Me:
Life In Newport News:
The Virginia Living Museum is a place where I have spent much of my time and I encourage everyone to take a visit when they are in town. I was a volunteer there for about four years and worked there as a photographer and admissions over the summers. I racked up a little over 500 hrs. As a volunteer I got to clean aquariums, do chemical tests, feed the marine life, and get involved in special programs that have taught me a lot about nature and wildlife. During my senior year I did a mentorship there and learned a lot about loggerhead sea turtles and research there. I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. I also got to meet a lot of great people: Dave Osman, John Kleopfer, Bob Annette, Bob Mardenburough, Ken Carter, Pat Morrell, Chris Hall, Peggy Frizzell, George Mathews, Heather Mathews, Ken Moore, Sara Pollard, the Culbertson Girls (Brittany, Lynly, Courtney), Adam Rothwell, and all of the many others that I have worked with over the years. Thanks!
