Butter pan. Place buttered trout seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika next to each other in pan. Place pan four inches below broiler and broil until done without turning. A good test is to split one of the trout along the backbone and if the trout is done, the meat is juicy and white. It will take about 8 minutes cooking time to broil the trout. A sauce of parsley or watercress adds a flavorful touch. Be sure to serve hot. You may also use electric rotisserie for broiling trout.
