through this poem I hope you see,
What you give me every day
In so many very special ways
I can't express enough to you
All the things we say and do
You bring smiles to a sad hour
like the soft scent of a new flower
When things go wrong and all is lost
you find a way to cheer me at all cost
you sent me strength with words of love
and lifted my heart like wings of a dove
Then it came my turn to hold your hand
and be the one to be on demand
