You have been my heart beat when I couldn't stand to live

you have been the breath of life instilled in my soul

you have given me courage to face the worst of all trials

you have been my crutch my friend my teacher my Guardian Angels

never have you asked me to return the loving gifts you gave me

never have you reminded me of my weaknesses or faults

When I faltered and lost my way you guided me home

when I cried you dried my tears and brought laughter to me

when anger struck and I was enraged you brought calm
