       Directed, wrote, edited, and shot (whew!) the short film, TROUBLE AT HAND.   For use in schools promoting Campus Crime Stopper's 88-Crime Program.  A school girl overhears a classmate boast of bringing a gun to school to get even with a teacher.  After a horrifying nightmare she calls for help.  The Attorney General of Arizona, Terry Goddard, and Pima County Attorney Barbara LaWall have posted the film at their websites.  You can watch both versions of the film here

WHERE DAD KEEPS HIS GUN will screened at the Arizona International Film Festival in Tucson and the Cave Creek Film Festival in Scottsdale.
 
     It is also available on
IMDB.   Pima County Attorney's Office honored Dick Fisher as the "2008" Citizen of the Year.  Article in Arizona Daily Star.    WHERE DAD KEEPS HIS GUN, a shortened version of the film won an AWARD OF MERIT at The Indie Fest in La Jolla, CA.

       Attended a "Digital Summit" in New Mexico, hosted by the International Cinematographer's Guild featuring seminars on new digital cinematogrphy tools.  My analysis of the current state of motion picture aquisition formats can be found

      The romantic comedy SNAPPERS (just renamed
LONGSHOT and renamed LIGHTBULB) returned to Tucson for reshoots.  Dick was hired to DP the job which included new scenes and pick ups. LONGSHOT is closing film at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, trailer available at the IMDB Website.   Here's a glowing reveiw in Variety.    *  LONGSHOT wins Best Film and Best Director at the Phoenix Film Festival.

INCIDENT AT ALMA, starring Colin Cunningham, Don Collier, and Kwane Vedrene, had it's international premier at the Spiritual Film Festival in Goa, India, February, 2006.   The film was awarded BEST SHORT FILM at the Arizona Black Film Showcase in Phoenix and has screened at festivals in Jackson, Chicago, Minneapolis, Martha's Vineyard, Culver City, CA, Hawaii, Thailand, and Toronto.   

   
THE UNKNOWN,  (renamed, CLAWED, THE LEGEND OF SASQUATCH)  was picked up by Blockbuster, produced by Dick who also shot and directed 2nd Unit with  the Panasonic HD Varicam 24p  camera system.
