Sixth Annual Fish For A Wish Championship
Sponsored by: Arlington Cat Clinic Ltd. And Northwest Match Anglers Fishing Club.
For the benefit of: Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois.
Place: Lake Arlington located on Windsor Drive about a quarter mile north of Palatine Road in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Date: June 11, 2006.
Time of Draw (for spot on bank): 7:30 AM.
Fishing Time: 8:30 to 11:30 AM.
Entry Fee: Minimum of $25.00 in donations to Make-A-Wish. (You may collect donations prior to the match).
Objective: Catch as many fish as you can in three hours. Any species counts. Fish will be released after weigh-in. Donations should be made payable to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois. Fishermen and women of all ages are welcome. We will have three divisions: Adults, Kids 10 to 16 years of age and children under 10 years old. Children under 10 may have help from an adult for knots and unhooking fish. Children must be able to cast and land fish on their own.
Prizes: Plaque and tackle for the angler collecting the most money for Make-A-Wish. Trophies for the top angler in each division (most weight of fish). Fishing tackle prizes for the top kid anglers (most weight of fish). A prize table for the adult anglers; those with more total weight of fish will select first. Lunch will be provided for fishers and helpers.
Deadlines: Entry may be made the day of the event but allow yourself time to secure some donations. Donations are due at 7:30 AM on June 11, 2006. Bring checks with you to the draw.
