weight, moderate action. This rod is dated 3/21/36, one tip is down 4
inches, the rod needs to be rubbed out, as the varnish has become
somewhat soft. The butt section has been reinforced just below the
ferrule, I tried to take a photo of that area. I think this rod is a
Heddon Featherlite Princess, the only Heddon rods that are 7 feet and
longer that do not have the swelled butt. It comes in a Heddon bag from
that period marked J W Harvey, and comes in a Heddon aluminum tube,
again from that period. This is the only Princess that I have seen, and
I have seen thousands of Heddon rods. $325
