| About the Benzie County Sport Fishing Association: (Revised Winter 2009) The Benzie County Sport Fishing Association is a non-profit Organization, incorporated in May of 2002, formed to promote and protect the Sport Fishery of Lake Michigan and all other Public Waters, in Benzie County and boarder Communities with adjoining Waters. The Association is made up of members representing Local Boat, Pier, Surf and River Fisherman and Businesses, as well as supporting members from all over Michigan. As with many Sportfishing Organizations, our main objective is to enhance the Sport Fishery, specifically in Benzie County Lakes, Rivers and Streams. In February of 2009, the BCSFA merged with the Grand Traverse Area Sport Fishing Association, which now represents our Fishery and Sportfishing in Benzie, Antrim, Kalkaska, Leelanau and Grand Traverse Counties!
