Gourami

Origin: Asia

Size: will grow large over time and if kept in a big tank but normally you'll see them at about 10 cm or less

Temperature: they do best at a temperature around 24' - 28' degrees Celsius

Water Conditions: soft to neutral with a PH of about 6 - 7

Comments: mostly an easy fish to keep but you must read up on them quite a bit before buying as some are easier than others and some are best kept in a species only tank instead of a community tank. they are bubble nest breeders so its best to keep some kind of floating plants at the top of the tank and a lot of plants for the fry to hide in when born.

This here is the common dwarf gourmai which does very well in a community tank with small and peaceful fish.
