7/4/06; Heres the Kaw turbo in its latest guise. It has a set of Z-1 Lester wheels on it (19 front, 18 rear) Z-1 6 bolt discs (the speedo drive was modified to fit) and new Bridgestone tires.. It has a Pingle petcock, Mikuni HS 40 carb (the choke cable is behind the intake cam cover). It has a set of new chrome headlight ears (cut down for the air fok caps), dual disc (with the correct 5/8 master cylinder),deep sump oil pan, large oil cooler. When I got the bike it had bent valves in it, all the valves have been replaced.
It will be put on the road with in a week. the jetting on the carb was a bugger, untill I found out that the intake scroll on the rebuilt turbo had no gasket. It has been jetted correctly and (of course) runs FANTASTIC. Dyna S ignition, coils, wires (with the stock wire covers added) It will probably be sold soon on Ebay. |
