TaeKwonDo is a Korean Martial Art that emphasizes the use of
feet and hands for self defense. It is the only recognized Martial
Art of the U.S. Olympic Committee; which became an official
medal sport at the 2000 Olympics in Sidney, Australia.
Our school is proud to have been one of three, to partake
in the first ever Jr. Olympics Team Delaware for 2002.
Our Gym offers a variety of Martial Art Programs
for family members, ages 4 and up.
Some of the skills you will learn and master are Taeguek and
Palgwe Forms, Hapkido's, and Self Defense. We offer Weapons
training to Green Belt and higher; a unique Street Self Defense
and Women's Self Defense classes. In addition, we offer
Combat Cane and Knife Defense classes. We require of
each student, respect for all others, courtesy and discipline.
With the return of the school season, we will again offer our After School Program which includes transportation from the Schools to the Gym.
