"Transsexual Frogs"

An article that looks at the controversy surrounding the appearance of
transsexual frogs (frogs with sex organs for both male and female) and
how it could be connected to a chemical that is in widespread use.
While studies both for and against the chemical have been published,
it has got new attention due to a lawsuit put out by workers at a
plant that produces the chemical, alleging that the chemical has
caused their cancer rates to be higher than normal.

An article that looks at the idea of linking together isolated parts
of woodland in California with natural paths. This is to allow
animals (like cougars who need a lot of territory) to move about and
meet new mates and new environments and help to maintain the species
in the face of increasing human land developments and intrusions.
