FIRST INN 2 RUGBY CLUB 10
First entertained Rugby Club at the Showfield, hoping to pick up more points and possibly move up to fourth place in the league. Unfortunately that wasn't to be.

After last week's fiasco, there were no less than 4 changes, with Howard, Locker, Owen, and Morrison all returning to the side. Lee Oliver made his first appearence for 2 years after surviving a possible career ending leg injury.

It appeared that First had left their heads in the dressing room as they promptly conceded 3 quick goals, after numerous defensive errors.

The only real moment of magic came when Owen's exquisite through ball found Steele on the right, who drove a clinical finish past Dobbs to make it 3-1.

Unfortunately Club broke moments later and increased their lead to 4-1 just before the half-time break.

The second half saw sub Chris Headlam take over as referee- well done Keano, and Lee Wardill took over between the sticks in place of Dan Locker, who was suffering with a hand injury.

Club were in no mood to relinquish their lead and soon added a fifth, before a powerful 20 yard drive from James Howard found the bottom-left corner. But there was worse to follow as First capitulated, letting their heads drop and losing their shape completely, conceding a further four before the end, leaving an embarrassing double figure scoreline.

Locker(L Wardill), Thomas, Trott, Usher, Morrison, Tose(Oliver), Steele, M Headlam, Owen, Howard, Wright(Webster). Subs not used: C.Headlam, Jackson, Snaith, Grisedale.
