| First recorded a blank scoresheet at a sodden Helredale Road. The game started slowly with the hosts finding the conditions just as uncomfortable as the visitors. But soon they found their feet and by half-time had a 4-0 lead. Stand-in keeper Mark Jackson had an uneviable task throughout and did well to keep the score down. First were limited to few attempts on goal with Wood having little to do in the Fleece goal. The visitors eventually rattled up double figures but this match was never going to be easy, in the end a heavy 11-0 defeat. Though, it is important to add that many of the goals were supremely taken by an accomplished forward line.
