Each day we spend time learning about God and His Word. Our Bible curriculum is called Enjoying God's Gifts. It is published by Positive Action For Christ. Each child has a workbook that supports the lesson, and it is used after the story or concept has been explored over several days.
We feel it is very meaningful and useful to hide God's Word in our hearts, and for this reason, we have a memory verse each week. Each child will recite the verse to me on Friday.
On Wednesdays at 8:40 we go to Chapel in the sanctuary of the church. We sing, enjoy a program of some kind, and pray. It is a wonderful gathering time for the whole elementary school. We love to have parents come to Chapel. We sit together as a class, but your child may sit with you after letting me know where you are.
