| Nice Mandrel bent 6 point rollcage was added a couple weeks ago. I did the bending at a friends shop with the help of another friend. I did the welding, I've done quite a bit of welding, but never on tubing before, so the welds look good but I had to reposition myself more frequently than was probably necessary. The floor plates are 1/4" steel, I think it turned out very nicely. |
| On the left is the modification for the F3 fuel door. On the right is where I've stitch-welded the engine compartment. Every race-team website I've ever read says that stitch welding the chassis does incredible things for the rigidity of the car. But, I'm too lazy to do the whole chassis. |
