| 53rd Virginia's Battle Report for New Market ToFCL/Valley Division Commanders: The follow report from me will be short and sweet I heard that the FCL and Valley Division Did a great job on and off the field your camps were clean and nobody complained about each Division reports from the other Division were good to hear Gen. Bair said he though yall did a fine job on the field the 2nd MD was impressed with the job the Valley and FCL did on the field and the 17VA who said you guy looked like vets on the field. The Commanders of the event looked though your camp for modern things and couldn't find nothing wrong but the CMF had to many soda cans out and coolers. The PACS 1st and 2nd had to many trash bags in the open and coolers. And the ANV just had a River flowing though there camp washing them out oh Too bad for the ANV Your Obedient Servant 2nd Lt.
