IST BEACONSFIELD SCOUT TROOP
This is the new neckerchief for the 1st Beaconsfield Heights Group.  The original colours of of the Group were lost many years ago and the Group has been using the generic National Colours.

1st Beaconsfield Heights had been without a Scout Troop for some 15 years. When we started up the Scout Troop again in October 1998, our new Scouts wanted their own colours.  The Troop designed a number of candidate neckerchief and finally chose the one above.

The neckerchief consists of the official colours of the City of Beaconsfield, green and white.  The blue border represents the shoreline of Lac St. Louis on which Beaconsfield is set.  Also the Coat of Arms of the City of Beaconsfield (shown below) is placed on the back of the neckerchief.  The moto inscribred at the bottom of the Coat of Arms is "Forti nihil difficile" (Nothing is Difficult to the Brave).
