Cooking is a very fun skill. It is enjoyable because you arenot standing in one place doing the same thing over and over. Instead, you walk around getting ingredients and cooking things. Cooking combined with fishing is even better, because fishing and cooking levels go up at the same rate (unlike mining and smithing). There are many foods you can cook in Runescape, each with different ingredients. To cook a food, assemble it the best you can (i.e. for apple pies, have everything together into an "uncooked apple pie") and then use it on a fire or range. Bread, pies, cakes, and pizzas may ONLY be made on a stove. Below there is a cooking table.
At level 32, you can enter the Cooking Guild, northeast of varrock. Make sure to bring a chef's hat. Either kill Imps to get one or you can also buy one for a few 100gp (clan members get a free chef's hat, but only while supplies last).
Foods with a "*" after them are members only. |
