Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Mrs. Blackley and I say, "Thank you." and we appreciate all the work that went into preparing the parsonage for our use and comfort.  We also thank you for the warm reception to this interim ministry.  There are many facets of the First Baptist's ministry.  Our primary concern is that we shall give our attention to what God wants of our lives and the church's outreach.

As we endeavor, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to minister among you, please note Philippians 2:1-5:

"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being in the Spirit and purpose.  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves...your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ."

Let us look forward in the power of the Holy Spirit.
