Soft supple lips,
speaking
The words catching me, my interest peaking.
More words I hear; from friends misguided critiquing
Her soft fine blonde hair, snapping like whips
Knowing sadness in her, wanting no more tears to drip
Her presence creates in me a grand pleasure trip
Losing myself in her deep eyes of crystalline blue
Causing my heart to control my brain in a coup
Snapping from my daydream unsure of what to do
Her sight causing a long forgotten feeling
Even the softest slightest touch sends my heart reeling
Again I hear cries of "friends"; cold & unfeeling
What can I do to capture her heart
Confused, love is such a black art
And how could I know the heart….
Was such a complex body part?
