| Labeled the Adonis of the team, this hunk of chiseled, sculptured flesh bears a striking resemblance to that of Michelangelos David. With rippling, angled pectorals large enough to abseil off, and back muscles you could rock climb up, this player left many a rangerette, and ranger, gaping and drooling at this mans perfected physique A sharp and probing bowler who bowled immaculate line and length, he would bowl tight and unyielding spells when needed. Once his spell was finished, he would continue the art of vicarious bowling by standing at mid on and informing what the bowler what the next delivery should be. Mostly it would be a bouncer. However this male model made the biggest impact in the field. Regardless of this mans huge frame, he had the finesse and poise to glide across the ground and run sharp angles. His judgment was impeccable when it came to catching, and would often mark a dolly and turn it into a Schweppes classic catch, and often would drop catches so he had a chance to bowl and claim the batsman himself. He also had the ability to create a solo thirst crushing moment good enough to be played on Sports Tonights play of the day. Whether he wasnt paying attention or slow of the mark, we dont know, but he had the habit of resorting to performing stunning dives, that would deny any Olympic Chinese diver gold, and leaving his teammates flabbergasted and speechless. However, all heros have their chinks, and the back handed run out attempt will always be his downfall. This ranger is one of the most liked in the team, as well as having the worst leg side game in the team. A player that would make any international team based on entertainment value, the rangers were blessed to have him. His impact on the team was unfathomable, so much so his mannerisms became contagious, unfortunately, catching was not one of them. Written by Shandy |
