WILL GO DOWN IN RANGER HISTORY FOR:
His amazing talent in the middle order as a One Day batsmen. His 37 (30) in the chase against Noahsharks was a pearler. Bazza came 5th in the Cricketer of the Year Votes.
The only Ranger not to drop a catch last season.
An exciting gifted allrounder, Barry Peterson has been a tremendous asset to the rangers this year. A player that possesses a unique 3 step shuffle, bazza has one of the best off side games in the team with a defiant cover drive, and a smooth cut shot, however sometimes unleashes his secret repertoire of mid wicket flicks and Neil like slog sweeps upon unsuspecting teams.

Bazza took to the one day games this year by stamping his authority in the middle order when chasing targets through crafty shot selection, needed boundaries and  quick singles (not quick enough to be run out by shandy 2.5 times this year). This is emulated by none better than his 30 ball 37 against noahsharks in a gripping chase. Bazza, however, also has the ability to adapt his game to different situations which was highlighted by his tough scoring 47 against cavaliers in a low scoring game.

A clever bowler who has the ability to move the ball and keep the runs down, Bazza is also a quick and a prowling fieldsman with the rare ability to read the ball off the bat. With a great pair of hands, BAzza was the only player not to have dropped a catch this year.  he will go down as one as a legendary ranger, as well as one of the most respected.  He is a talent that will be sorely missed in the future. PS, To get bazza hooking, simply hit him on the helmet.
