It was extremely cold that morning.  Around 14°

Summit Notes:  There was a short, paved walkway that led to the highpoint of Missouri.  Other than it being extremely cold, this highpoint was very pleasant.  On the summit trail, we met a group of other high pointers from Wisconsin who were also braving the cold morning air.  Their group consisted of a husband and wife, a sister, two toddlers, a baby (in stroller), and two dogs all piled into a big fifteen passenger van.  Since our camera was malfunctioning in the extreme cold weather, the Wisconsinites used their camera to take our pictures.  We will be forever grateful.
